Lifeco

About Lifeco

Lifeco is an early-stage Massachusetts nonprofit exploring ambitious ways to help life flourish—human and nonhuman, present and future.

Our premise

Life is good, and more healthy, diverse, flourishing life is better. That does not mean maximizing a single number. It means protecting biodiversity, extending healthy lives, reducing preventable suffering, strengthening the conditions life depends on, and considering the rights and wellbeing of affected communities.

How we work

Our twelve project areas are research directions, not ten operating programs. We use them to map problems, learn from existing work, invite criticism, and find opportunities where a small organization could add something useful.

Current stage

Lifeco is in concept development and relationship-building. We have not launched field programs, and links to other organizations do not imply endorsement, funding, or partnership. The project pages now identify practical milestones that would need to be completed before any launch.

Get involved

The most useful help today is expertise, critique, relevant research, and introductions to organizations or communities already doing the work. Email Caleb with the project name and a short note about your experience or idea.

Support and legal status

Lifeco Group Inc. is registered as a nonprofit corporation in Massachusetts. We are not currently a 501(c)(3), and we are not presenting project pages as solicitations for tax-deductible gifts. Please contact us before offering financial support.
